Silicone Molding
Processes
Compression Molding
Think of it like a big waffle maker. Raw high-consistency silicone rubber goes into each cavity and is pressed with high heat, vacuum, and pressure to vulcanize the material into your final product — efficient, repeatable, and ideal for consumer goods.
Transfer Molding
Material loads into a pot at the top of the mold, then a plunger rams it through runners to fill each cavity under high pressure and vulcanizing heat — giving tighter control of efficiency and flashing for precision parts.
Plastic Injection Molding
Now introducing plastic injection molding — rigid components, housings, and hybrid silicone-plastic products, made under the same roof as your molded silicone parts. One supplier for the whole product.
Extrusion & More
Profiles, tubing, and continuous silicone parts — plus mold development, polish, and repair to keep every tool in your program running at peak quality.

FAQ
How much does custom silicone molding cost in the USA?
It depends on part size, material, cavitation, and volume — but the number that matters is landed cost. We quote against your true all-in overseas cost, including freight and tariffs, and American silicone molding is often price-competitive once those are counted. Send your part for a same-day quote.
What is the minimum order quantity for silicone molding?
Low and startup-friendly. We run pilot batches and first articles so you can validate a product before committing to full production volumes — no overseas-style MOQ wall.
What silicone and rubber materials can you mold?
Our presses are optimized for high-consistency silicone rubber (HCR), including food-grade and skin-safe formulations, and also mold natural rubber, neoprene, nitrile, EPDM, fluorosilicone, and specialty elastomers.
How fast is production compared to manufacturing in China?
Domestic freight from our California facility typically reaches customers in about 10 days, versus roughly 45 days of ocean freight from Asia — with zero tariff exposure and U.S. IP protection on top.
Do you make molds and tooling too?
Yes — mold development, tooling, polish, and repair, plus design-for-manufacturing support, prototyping, assembly, packaging, and 3PL fulfillment. One partner, sketch to shelf.
Do you offer plastic injection molding?
Yes — plastic injection molding is our newest service, alongside silicone compression and transfer molding, extrusion, and full mold tooling. One supplier for silicone, plastic, and hybrid products.
Where is Stuff MFG's factory and what equipment does it run?
Lake Elsinore, California — two 250-ton double-station vacuum hydraulic presses with heated 600×600 mm platens, sized for everything from rapid prototypes and pilot batches to full production runs.
Does Stuff MFG do extrusion, or only molding?
Both. Alongside compression, transfer, and injection molding, we extrude profiles, tubing, and continuous silicone parts, and handle mold development, polish, and repair to keep every tool running at peak quality.
How is my product idea or design protected?
Your files and idea are protected under U.S. law, and we sign an NDA on request before reviewing anything. A real person on our team reviews every submission — usually the same day.
How do I start a project with Stuff MFG?
Send us what you're making, what it's made of today, and your target landed cost through the quote form. A real human reviews it — usually the same day — with real numbers, not a sales runaround.
How does Stuff MFG compare to a typical overseas silicone supplier?
~10-day domestic freight vs. ~45 days by ocean, zero tariff exposure, U.S. IP protection, startup-friendly MOQs instead of high overseas minimums, and same-time-zone communication instead of a 12–15 hour offset.
